3 | 4 | 5 | 6 12p Johns Creek North Fulton: No Meeting Enjoy your Holiday week. Since the Atlanta Athletic Club is undergoing renovations we will meet NEXT Wednesday, July 13th at the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce.
11695 Johns Creek Parkway, Suite 100
Johns Creek, Georgia 30097 | 7 12:15p Thomasville: 12:15 Regular Meeting: Patriotic Theme - Allegiance Flag Supply Guest It’s not about us. It’s about the flag. But since you’re here, we’ll give you the 411 on who we really are.
We’re just three patriotic friends who couldn’t find a hand-sewn American flag made in the U.S.A. that wouldn’t end up in tatters after flying for just a short time.
That was unacceptable.
So we decided to make it ourselves.
“If you’re looking for a cheap American Flag, you’ve come to the wrong place.” - Max Berry
When Max Berry, Wes Lyon and Katie Lyon purchased their first homes, they searched for a high-quality American flag to fly. But they all soon encountered the exact same problem; finding a high-quality American flag that was made in the USA. Purchases from Amazon and big box stores resulted in flags that quickly deteriorated, wrapped around their flagpole, and were often made overseas. If the flags they bought were made domestically, they were often mass-produced with low quality materials. After an exhaustive search for a flag worthy of our country’s colors, everything came up short. Frustrated, they decided to take matters into their own hands, launching Allegiance Flag Supply in Charleston, SC in 2018.
Their mission was to scour the country to find the highest quality materials, sewing processes and accessories made in America so the customer doesn't have to. Not long after the company’s inception, they began working with a third-generation, family-owned factory where many of the seamstresses had seen their jobs disappear as American textile manufacturing moved overseas. After tirelessly testing fabrics and exploring sewing techniques to create the perfect flag, Allegiance was born, contributing to a resurgence in American textile manufacturing along the way.
They're a fun-loving bunch who love their country. And their friends and colleagues will tell you that’s exactly who they are. But making the American flag is serious business and a task they don’t take lightly. Every stitch. Every hem. Every thread. They’re all the most important part because they make up the whole. 5:30p North Cobb: Kids Food Kit - Volunteer Champions: Herb Hicks and Mel Stovers Assemble Kids Food Kits for Must Minitries 5:30ish PM Tomorrow-Thursday July 7 at 776 Whitlock Ave Marietta
