Abstract: The Rotary Club of Newnan, Georgia, has a rich history of community service and fellowship dating back to its establishment on February 29, 1924. It was sponsored by the Rotary Club of West Point and had 19 charter members. This dynamic and dedicated organization has been pivotal in making Newnan a better place to live and work for over eight decades. Founded by local business and community leaders, the Rotary Club of Newnan quickly became a driving force for positive change in the community. Throughout its history, the club has been guided by the Rotary International motto, "Service Above Self," and has strived to uphold its core values of service, integrity, and leadership.
