The Rotary Club of Alpharetta has been recognized as a ShelterBox Hero Club for its outstanding commitment to providing emergency shelter and essential supplies to families displaced by disaster and conflict worldwide.
ShelterBox, Rotary International’s official project partner in disaster relief, delivers tents, tools, and life‑saving aid to communities devastated by hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and conflict. Hero Clubs are Rotary Clubs that make an annual financial commitment to ShelterBox, ensuring this critical work continues.
“Becoming a ShelterBox Hero Club demonstrates our members’ dedication to Service Above Self and to making a global impact,” said Club President Paul Slavik. “We are proud to stand alongside other Rotary clubs across the U.S. in supporting families during their greatest time of need.”
Hero Club recognition includes Bronze ($1,000), Silver ($3,000), and Gold ($5,000) levels of annual support. The Rotary Club of Alpharetta achieved Bronze status this year.
